Kanoria Centre for Arts
Kanoria Centre for Arts is a non-profit institution and multifunctional art centre that facilitates the production, display and education of the arts. The Kanoria Centre for Arts (KCA) was founded in 1984 by Urmila Kanoria with the support of BV Doshi (who also designed the campus) and the Ahmedabad Educational Society as one of the early artist studios and residency spaces in the country. Its inaugural stone was laid by the Late M. F. Husain, and inputs from Bhupen Khakhar, Piraji Sagara, Geeta Kapur and many more leading personalities established KCA's foundation for becoming a non-profit, self-sustaining institution. The Centre has now expanded into a gallery, performance, and arts educational space, in addition to hosting the artist studios, and facilitates the promotion of arts & cultural programmes.
