Basera is a small yet significant public plaza designed for a women-led community organisation in Mirzapur, Ahmedabad. In a neighbourhood with limited safe public spaces, the project was envisioned as a place for women to gather, learn, and lead community initiatives. Designed within modest spatial and financial constraints, Basera serves as a flexible, open platform for vocational training, meetings, and everyday interactions - building not just a structure, but a space of visibility, care, and collective strength.
